Job Description

PREFERRED APPLICANTS WILL HAVE SOME SORT OF TRADE EXPERIENCE AND BE MECHANICALLY INCLINED

Exceptional opportunity for long-term employment and advancement to elevator mechanic with significantly higher wages. Ideal candidates have trade school and/or have an engineering, electrical or construction background. Without this experience, being eager to learn and adept with a variety of tools is a must. Your role is to assist elevator mechanics in elevator installation, maintenance, modernization, and repairs.

Reliable transportation to our warehouse in Bellmawr, NJ area is required. We supply everything but hand tools including all power tools, ladders, consumable parts like drill bits, saw blades, wire, PPE, and company apparel.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist elevator mechanic at job site to install home elevators in new construction & retrofits.
  • Problem solving is key to advancement.
  • Show up every day on time to work with your team.
  • Present a mature attitude for the safety of yourself, team, and customers.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds.
  • Good physical condition required (for walking stairs and working in the heat of summer)

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • MUST HAVE a valid driver’s license.
  • MUST speak and understand English.
  • MUST HAVE proof of authorization to work in the US.
  • MUST not have a fear of heights.
  • MUST pass drug testing and background check.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical Certifications are a plus.

Pay: Pay is based on applicants specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.

Job Description

APPLICANTS NEED A MINIMUM FIVE (5) YEARS EXPERIENCE AS AN ELEVATOR MECHANIC.

Your role is to install and service Residential Elevators. We are a privately owned company serving the entire Tri State area. All mechanics must have a Valid Driver’s License and verifiable experience. We supply everything but hand tools including a company van, all power tools, ladders, consumable parts like drill bits, saw blades, wire, PPE, and company apparel. Candidates with exceptional experience will be considered for a relocation package.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • The priority of each Mechanic is the installation of Residential Elevators
  • Assignments include both new construction and retrofitting occupied homes
  • Mechanics must be able to read a schematic
  • Problem solving is key to advancement
  • Each Mechanic is assigned a helper
  • Ability to lift 75 LBS.
  • Duties also require Good Physical Condition (for walking stairs and working in the heat of summer)

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Verifiable experience as an Elevator Mechanic
  • Technical Certifications are a plus
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proof of authorization to work in the United States
  • Employees must pass drug testing and background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25 to $35/hour depending on experience, higher pay for experience with our brands.

After 90 days, you will be evaluated based on your performance and the ability to install an elevator from start to finish.
